Hello fans,

Sports Curses

A recent story was released in April about a Red Sox shirt being buried under the Yankees dugout in their new stadium, to be opened in 2009. This article will take a look at curses throughout the world of sports; including baseball and football, and how true they really are. The Red Sox jersey, with David Ortiz’s name on the back of it, was unearthed at the new stadium and removed. The member of the construction crew who buried it there had hopes that the jersey would put a curse or hex on the Yankees, such as the decades long one that the Red Sox suffered through until their World Series Championship in 2004 and again in 2007.
